wonder no longer with the yesterday effects 8bit fuzz. the 8bit fuzz allows you to create anything from compressed and gated fuzz to classic, open, and long sustaining velcro ripping fuzz. the compressed, gated sound is where the 8bit magic occurs. the 8bit fuzz can even be used to mimic 8-bit drum sounds by muting the strings, and strumming the low E for a kick and the higher strings for a snare. it'll have your signal sounding like it's coming straight out of an NES. the 8bit fuzz is an incredibly versatile tool that easily lends itself to creative expression.
gate: this controls the amount of squash/gate present within the effect. when the gate control is dialed back to the left, more squash/gate is present. inversely, when the gate control is dialed forward to the right, the effect is more open and less gated, which is especially useful when you want to dial in a more tradiontal fuzz tone.
input: this control attenuates the amount of input signal that the effect is receiving. this is especially useful when you want a very pinched 8bit sound, in which case you'd dial the input and pinch controls into a high setting. lower input settings remind me of dying battery sounds.
