Vintage Ludwig Pioneer silver sparkle 5" x 14" wood shell snare drum with 6 bowtie lugs.
Pre-serial number keystone badge, P-83 throw-off and butt plate both have "script logos", white-painted interior.
Stamp date appears to be Mar 22 1961
Chrome is generally excellent, I believe the snare itself is a recent replacement.
Silver sparkle wrap is in great shape for its age, lots of bling and hardly any yellowing, in all a beautiful example of the Ludwig Pioneer snare from early 1960s!
